Dental Public Health

Dental Public Health (DPH) is a non-clinical subject of dentistry that contracts with the deterrence of oral disease and elevation of oral health. Dental public health is complicated in the valuation of key dental health wants and coming up with real solutions to recover the dental health of populations rather than individuals.

Deterrence is becoming progressively important. Dental related diseases are largely avoidable and there is a rising burden on health care systems for cure. Dental public health looks outside the role of a dental doctor in treating dental disease, and seeks to decrease demand on health care systems by resending of resources to priority areas.
