Occupational Safety and Health

Occupational health and safety is a branch of public health that investigates trends in workplace injuries and illnesses and recommends and implements prevention methods. Occupational health and safety regulations require the removal, reduction, or replacement of dangers on the job site. Occupational safety and health refers to the laws, regulations, and programmes aimed at improving the working environment for employees, as well as co-workers, family members, consumers, and other stakeholders.
