Lung carcinoma is a malignant tumour it uncontrolled by cell growth in tissues. This growth can spread beyond the lung by the process of metastasis and nearby tissue or other parts of the body. The 2 types Lung carcinoma are small-cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) and non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). The most common signs are coughing including coughing up blood, weight loss, shortness of breath, and chest pains.The 3 types are adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and large cell carcinoma.
Adenocarcinoma is the most common type and starts in the mucus making gland cells in the lining of your airways.
