Otology is a subspecialty of otolaryngology which focuses on the diseases of the ear and its connecting structures. Neurotology or neuro-otology is a branch of clinical medicine which studies and treats neurological disorders of the ear, and is closely related to otology, and also draws on the fields of neurology and neurosurgery. This session is designed in order to discuss the latest technology and techniques, including microsurgery, reconstructive surgery and implantable hearing devices.
