Biogas

Biogas is produced mostly from waste materials in landfills, manure, sludge from wastewater treatment and agricultural waste. Biogas is a mixture of methane and carbon dioxide along with other trace gases. Biogas is one of the types of biofuels, which include solid, liquid or gaseous fuels from biomass. Biogas is produced by the use of bacteria or other microorganisms that digest and degrade organic matter in the materials.
