Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry is defined as the branch of dentistry that uses spotlights to treat several dental conditions that individualities have. The first time laser dentistry came commercially available was in 1989. It started with a tooth hankie procedure that was done with a spotlight.

Ultimate practices use the diode laser, the carbon dioxide laser or the Nd: YAG Laser. Spotlights are complete at creating tears and removing goo hankie. The purpose of this is to help a dentist's visibility and to give lesser access when reshaping epoxies.
