Trauma and critical care are intertwined fields focused on the immediate and ongoing management of severely injured patients. Trauma care encompasses the initial assessment, stabilization, and treatment of injuries resulting from accidents or violence, while critical care refers to the specialized, intensive medical care provided to patients with life-threatening conditions, including those with severe trauma. The goal is to prevent further deterioration, stabilize the patient, and optimize their recovery.
