3D Bio printing & Bio Fabrication

3D Bio printing is the method of printing biomedical structures with the usage of viable cells, biological molecules, and biomaterials. In simple words, 3D bio printing is the deposition of biological material in a layer-by-layer fashion to make 3D structures like tissues and structures. Bio fabrication is usually defined as the production of complex biologic products from raw resources such as living cells, matrices, biomaterials, and molecules. This rapidly evolving skill has been stimulated by the development of 3D fabrication technologies.

3D bio printing is based on three fundamental approaches:

Bio mimicry or bio mimetics

Autonomous self-assembly

Mini-tissue building blocks
