Cancer immunotherapy Car T Cell Technology

Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy is a way to get immune cells called T cells (a type of white blood cell) to match cancer by changing them in the lab so they can find and end cancer cells. T-cell transfer therapy is a type of immunotherapy that makes your own immune cells better able towards attack cancer. CAR T-cell therapy proved to be more effective than the standard treatment for patients with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma whose cancer repaid after their initial, or first-line, chemotherapy.

There are four types of Car T Cell Therapy:

B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL)

Follicular lymphoma

Mntle cell lymphoma

Multiple myeloma

B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
