Critical care or ICU nursing is a specialization of nursing which deals with patient’s life –threatening conditions. Critical care nurses include: Assessing a patient's condition and planning and implementing patient care in emergency. Treating wounds and providing advanced life support. Administering IV fluids and medications in emergency. Providing education and support to patients and their families for further care.
