Cancer Screening & Chemotherapy

Screening tests are used to find growth before a person has any symptoms. So, it's important to get regular broadcasts even if you are feeling fine. Cancer screening tests can clip some changes that may or may not be cancer. Chemotherapy is a drug action that uses powerful chemicals to kill fast-growing cells in your body. Chemotherapy is most often used to treat cancer, since cancer cells grow and multiply much extra quickly than most cells in the body. Sickness caused by chemotherapy can start within a couple of hours of initial your treatment and only last a day or so. Or it can come on further than 24 hours after the start of treatment.

There are six types of chemotherapy:

• Alkylating agents

• Plant alkaloids

• Antimetabolites

• Anthracyclines

• Topoisomerase inhibitors

• Corticosteroids.
