Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing committee, it is my pleasure to announce the convening of the 7th European Congress on Infectious Diseases in Rome, Italy, on September 11-12, 2025.
The main theme of the 2025 Congress will be “Innovations in Global Health: Combatting Emerging Infectious Threats”, a topic that illustrates eloquently our never-ending fight against microorganisms causing diseases around the globe, in the context of a world in constant evolution that has now entered an inter-pandemic phase.
The Congress will provide an excellent opportunity for face-to-face exchanges and discussions between scientists and clinicians from research centers, hospitals and companies, in a format that facilitates networking between professionals actively involved in research at different levels in infectious diseases. High-quality presentations will ensure that participants learn about new ideas, current thinking and up-to-date information regarding multiple facets of research on viruses, bacteria and other microbial pathogens, and the evolving strategies developed to control them. Young as well as experienced scientists and clinicians are invited to share their knowledge, experience and projects at this important Congress, and to bring home information that will be profitable for their professional activities.
The Congress will be held in one of the most beautiful and celebrated cities of Europe, Rome, in the Italian peninsula. Sometimes called “The Eternal City”, or the “City of Seven Hills”, Rome offers a rich culture and history dating back thousands of years. It is the place to admire the finest pieces of art made by geniuses such as Michelangelo, Raphael and Botticelli, among others, and architectural masterpieces at every corner of the city. Italy is also known for its excellence in music and its exotic cars. The Italian’s fine cuisine is recognized worldwide as one the best and the country’s hospitality is legendary.
You are warmly invited to join us at the 2025 Congress. Your participation along with that of your colleagues and students will make the Congress a huge success.
We look forward to seeing you in Rome!

2025 will host in the old Romus and Remulus city of Rome the “7th European congress on Infectious Diseases”.
That first quarter of the 21st Century congress will highlight the very timely theme: ‘Innovations in Global Health; Combatting Emerging Infectious Threats’.
Against the well-known 1948 UN Universal Human Rights Declaration and 42 years later the 2010 UN and World Health Assembly Resolution 63.12 on the Universal Health Coverage program, the past last turbulent decade has unveiled a number innovative clinical diagnostic and therapeutic tools like AI, digital foot printing, ChatGPT/Chatbot and nanotechnology to improve Global Health but also strengthened the capacity to combat emerging infectious agents, control and mitigate infectious disease threats and outbreaks.
This unique opportunity to present and learn on infectious diseases past, present and future should not be missed!’
With Regards,
