Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is both an honor and a privilege to announce the convening of the 6th European Congress on Infectious Diseases in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on October 03-04, 2024.

The main theme of the 2024 Congress will be “Defeating the Invisible Foe: Advancing Infectious Disease Control and Research”, in line with the urgent need to globally pursue the fight against microscopic pathogens and the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance to our current medicine arsenal.

The Congress will provide an excellent opportunity to bring together, in a face-to-face format, leading experts and early-career researchers from all over the world to present and discuss their research results at the basic and clinical levels in the spectrum of infectious diseases. One of our goals is to facilitate discussion among scientists and promote networking between professionals. We strongly believe that a live academic meeting such as this one offers the best approach to ensure that participants gain new knowledge and collaborations that will be profitable for their research.   

The Congress will be held in the beautiful city of Amsterdam, one of the best capital cities in Europe that is rich in culture, art and history, and is well known for its canals, bicycles, and cozy restaurants.
